Position: Crew/Deckhand – FV Polarland – SE Alaska – Purse Seine – Salmon

Responsibilities: boat prep, deck work while fishing, net mending, handing fish/off-loading, general boat maintenance, wheel watch/navigation (including trip north and south from Seattle, WA), etc.
Dates: June 1, 2024 – starting date in Seattle, WA (net work, boat prep, loading prior to departure - total 12 full days work - can be done prior to June 1 if necessary); June 13, 2024 – departure from Seattle to Alaska; September 15, 2024 - approximate return to Seattle from Alaska – varies according to run timing.
